The “best” base is the one that solves your current campaign. These are practical endgame and midgame picks based on built-in value, flexibility, travel and how much the base asks you to sacrifice to cover essentials.
Prescott Fire Station
One of the easiest large bases to make immediately useful. Its built-in infrastructure covers jobs you would otherwise spend slots or outposts solving.
Best for
Newer communities, Builder-oriented runs and players who want power immediately instead of a blank canvas.
Lundegaard Lumber Mill
A mature-community base with large-slot freedom. It rewards players who already understand their economy and want to build around a specific plan.
Best for
Forever communities, production-heavy layouts and ambitious leader-facility combinations.
Container Fort
The classic Cascade endgame base. Built-in value, bed capacity, elevated positions and open space make it excellent for large communities.
Tradeoff
Travel. Cascade already involves long drives and the Fort is not the most central answer.
Corner Office
A smaller, tighter and more central philosophy. With good outposts around downtown it becomes an efficient operating center.
Squelones Brewing Company
An economic monster for players who enjoy trading. Its brewing infrastructure and useful slots make it easy to turn food into trade goods and influence.
Synergy
Trader leader plus Trade Depot can turn many shortages into purchases instead of problems.
Whitney Field
Excellent open-slot freedom. The announcer system can also be used deliberately for influence farming once your defenders are ready.
Tradeoff
Travel and the resources required to exploit all that open space.
Barricaded Strip Mall
Loaded with useful built-ins, including medical, kitchen and training value. Spend your open slots on specialized facilities instead of rebuilding basics.
Mike's Concrete
A favorite for communities that want to shape the base around different plans while staying in a practical part of Drucker's road network.
Farmland Compound
Central position, large flexible footprint and useful built-ins make this one of the strongest all-around homes in the game.
Why it shines
Excellent for production-heavy or combat-heavy communities and particularly strong for long-term play.
Red Talon Daybreak FOB
Not the most flexible home, but unique. Local repair missions can restore Red Talon facilities and lead to a Red Talon recruit.
